welcome back to Bella booze lunches if
you're new welcome today we are maybe
even this week I'm not exactly sure how
our foods are going to go this week but
we're gonna pack a hot lunch in her
lunch box today because we're eating at
home anyways so might as well just make
some hot for the two so I am using these
sweet Hawaiian hamburger buns I got them
at Walmart
and Here I am sticking in one of the
buns we've never had these before but
they really smell it and look delicious
so let's see how we can do it here so
I'm gonna put I need barbecues here is
my barbecue meat or I guess it's called
sloppy joes really um meat : barbecue is
but they are mostly known as sloppy joes
and I have my recipe for this so if
you're interested in it I'll stick it up
in the corner and you can click over and
see how I make it it's a really really
easy recipe and it's so good so a few of
you have tried it and let me know that
it's your new favorite go-to recipe it's
pretty simple I mean if you can Brown
beef you can make this fluffy jewel
recipe and then I also fried up some
potatoes so this is not something we do
often but we were just kind of I don't
know usually eat sloppy joes and chips
like potato chips but we don't have
potato chips so I took some potatoes
sliced them up and then threw them in a
pan with some olive oil and that's all I
did with that and then she said she
wanted some apple sauce and this apple
sauce so this is a really easy lunch
today and it's going to be hot it looks
really good looks really good hot
Bella's starving so am I so we are going
to go and eat it and I will show you
what she ate when we're done okay
I have to apologize yesterday I did not
show you what Bella had for a while
no I showed you what she had but I did
not do the ant like show you what she
ate she ate pretty much everything
except
the applesauce right yeah I like eight
so yeah so Bella cleaned it out before I
was able to film it it doesn't matter
she ate pretty much everything except
half the applesauce do you want to give
yourself a hard-boiled egg
so for Easter we have colored some eggs
so Bella packed yourself a pink
hard-boiled egg and then this is nice
kitty sauce I also have this recipe up
if you are interested in it it's
typically packed with tons of vegetables
I just kind of put in whatever
vegetables we had so I put in mushrooms
and onions and garlic and meat tomatoes
and then this is not spaghetti this is
bowtie pasta anyone this is what she's
getting for lunch today it's another hot
lunch so this week I'm going to attempt
to do all hot lunches and yeah that's
good yeah yeah
sohow lunches this week and then maybe I
think I'm gonna do a Disney themed I
don't know I got some other fun lunches
coming up so look for Disney themed one
and like I don't know they're gonna be
cute she's also getting some cuties some
little of mandarin oranges and then the
hard-boiled egg that she colored so
anybody here Isabella's lunch I will try
to remember to show you what she okay I
didn't use the lid today so here we go
all right Bella how'd you do okay so she
ended up having two eggs so that's the
stuff you see there and yeah there's a
little bit of an orange left and I
painted my nails so back in business
people all right good job Bella and we
will see you guys tomorrow
well in one second for you today we are
making those lunch what's on this which
is imperfections okay
um today we're making Bella's lunch she
and I we are both getting quesadillas so
I'm going to just make one to show you
and depending on how big it is we'll
either share it or I'll make another one
from
so we'll figure that out in the end but
to start I'm going to make some
guacamole so I just start by slicing up
a tomato and I'm going to use half in
the black what though I'm gonna use half
in the guac and then the other half for
are at the top of our half of this I'm
going to put on my plate for the
guacamole and the other half I'm just
gonna set aside for our quesadillas and
then I also have a couple avocados I did
dice them or not dice them but I slice
them up ahead of time because I needed
to make sure that they were good because
they've been sitting on my counter for a
couple days I wasn't sure if they were
gonna last okay so I start with my
tomatoes and then I add a little bit of
garlic you can go heavy-handed or
light-handed on it I would say that's
probably about 1/4 of a teaspoon of
garlic and then we also add our avocados
so these are just so soft that I can
just squeeze them out now one thing that
I've always done but I now realize that
not everybody else does this wash your
avocados as soon as you get home just
give them a good wash in your sink and
that way they're good to go when you're
ready to eat them a lot of times people
think because you're not eating the
outside of the avocado that it's fine
but just imagine like cutting through it
and anything that was on that peel
you're now pushing it all the way
through into your food not to mention
you're handling the peeling with your
hands and maybe touching your food like
I use my hands a lot of times when I'm
cooking so just something to keep aware
of next time you're slicing up your
avocado you're bringing in an avocado
home wash it
how about watermelon Bella do you think
that when you get a watermelon home
should you give that a ran sir is that
so big that it's not needed - yes yes
you don't know yeah
good answer so I think you should wash
off your fluids you produce whatever I
agree
wash it all up another thing that I just
started washing this summer were my
bananas and that was only because I
didn't want to get fruit flies but now I
wash them because yeah I need a little
bit of salt and then I also when I diced
up onions
I always just dice up extra and then I
throw them into a ziplock bag so when
I'm trying to make something you know
like guac today I don't have to worry
about dicing up onion again Oh some
cilantro and then for your avocado or
your guacamole give it a really good mix
and then do a little bit of a taste test
and see if you need to add any more
ingredients to it so sometimes we'll add
a little extra salt or a little extra
lemon juice or cilantro or tomato and I
just matched it with my fork and that
does kind of match up the tomatoes too
and that makes it just fine just
delicious I'm tasting to a taste
mostly I think there's a little too much
um saw it huh
and I feel like we're gonna need some
lime juice in some more cilantro
okay so I'm gonna add a little bit of
cilantro a little bucks
oops sorry about that no bitter language
do you open this thing you need it we're
not weird
handle extra cilantro fresh is mess but
we don't have fresh I love lime juice
and lemon juice and lemon there I
actually when we had like eleven cut up
I was bitten one I did it was very sweet
I think it's pretty good I do too I
think it's actually really perfect so
we're just gonna set this aside but the
flavors kind of meld together and we're
gonna quickly cook up our quesadilla so
I have my pan and it's about medium heat
right now I put a little bit of extra
virgin olive oil in the bottom of the
pan and then I'm putting my tortilla in
there I'm going to add a little bit of
taco meat that's left over from one of
our dinners earlier this week
I added some red onion it's the same
onion from our guacamole Art's already
cut up for me and then some shredded
cheese now we like a lot of shredded
cheese on ours so I'm gonna just pile
this bad boy up
with tons of cheese and then I take my
other tortilla and just pop it right on
to the top that I feel like and I don't
know this is not scientific but I feel
like it's gonna help trap some of the
heat and help melt the cheese a little
bit so it will stick to this so I can
flip it over in about three minutes and
crisp up this side I'm going to attempt
to flip this bad boy my cheese on the
top has not melted as you can see so
there's no stick äj--
it's going to happen
so I gotta flip this fast and possibly
make a huge mess we will find out
ready-set-go
pretty darn good we're just gonna cook
the bottom one to get a nice brown
toasty texture on that one and then I
will pop him out cut them up and we'll
play them I'm using this blue le box I
think it's just a great Universal backs
and I'm gonna stick two of these guys
into here so I added some stuff some
sour cream very sloppily don't worry
that's how I do things around here and
then I'm also going to give her some of
this guacamole that we whipped up I'm
gonna give her some tomatoes as a little
side route she'll also just eat those
plain to go with the guac she's gonna
get and chipped perfect little cute and
fun lunch
does that look fun so here is what the
quesadilla ends up looking like super
fine the easy great little way to make
your lunch I like using the little
divided containers inside of this
container just cuz it keeps everything
separated and Bella likes her food not
to touch anyways so doing it this way
just makes it easy and compact and it's
fun especially in the summer these are
great little lunches for the summertime
even if you don't do the quesadillas
just doing toppings maybe even some
salsa and just doing the like a little
natural lunch that's one of our
favourite lunches too so anyway this is
going to be both lunch today we'll see
what she eats all right Bella how'd you
do

how was it this is one of my favorite
lunches because I love lots of side and
so I added salsa to mine dead-end temps
no that's it it's also and everything
else was the same as Bella's so um yeah
I liked it Bella would prefer without me
no actually like it with me more than
I'm like without it oh really yeah
typically she only wants cheese in it
so we've switched you over yeah I was
making it to my preference so she did
not get what she wanted at first but you
ended up like it when you ate it all I
don't like it alright well good job
Bella thank you today Bella is getting
Velveeta shells and cheese can you even
believe it what an easy lunch right so
we're gonna start by boiling the noodles
and added a little bit of salt to my pot
and now I'm just gonna boil my noodles
until they're al dente and then I will
be back after I've drained them and well
I have the cheese but don't worry she's
getting one other thing but my question
for you is what do you serve with
macaroni and cheese at your house
there's one thing that I just feel goes
hand in hand with macaroni and cheese so
comment down below what you what you
usually serve and I'll be back in one
second ate my noodles are done and so
I'm going to add a little bit actually
the entire thing of this cheese sauce
mix or Unni I don't know what it is
about Velveeta shells and cheese why is
it good I can't figure it out
do you guys know why it's good this
should not be good but it is I don't
know tell me do you like first of all do
you like they'll be the shells and
cheese and then tell me do you like this
one like the shells like this kind or do
you like the powder kind where you have
to mix it with milk or are you a
homemade type of mac and cheese
quanis or connoisseur do you say that
word
anyway it's what's wrong with me okay so
we got our mac and cheese now i salted
the water so I'm not gonna salt the
pasta bless you Bella
Lassie Bella and we are going to watch
see Bella jeez Louise we're going to
fill up our container so this is another
one of those little blue LD containers I
just love them and I like that little
heart in there have you figured out what
I'm gonna put in there yet so I am doing
Bella knows because she's here I totally
just build a nice build again say
they'll be back alright did you guess
what I'm packing packing some peas now
don't spit yeah this is the tricky part
Oh so this is how much simple easy
no problema I got a bunch of macaroni
leftover so and some peas leftover so
this is going to be a Bella's lunch
today it's easy Matt everyday needs to
be a pain in the behind so this is what
she's getting I do have some really fun
at lunches coming up though yeah so I
posted a video a few weeks ago showing
all these new bento supplies that I got
and I'm gonna use them so keep your eyes
peeled for those videos coming I'm gonna
do a first video where I do like my
first impressions where I test them out
and see how they actually work and then
I will incorporate them into her lunches
and also I found some really yummy
recipes from Disney World so I'm going
to attempt to recreate them and let you
know if they're actually good because I
don't know if you knew or not we were
supposed to go to Disney World and they
shut down so we weren't able to go so
this will be our next best thing is
recreating some of Disney
these recipes and seen if we like them
so anyway here is Bella's lunch for
today we'll see what she eats all right
now I had you do all right pretty good
job that was a lot of macaroni it was
and you pack me two of these I know I
did that to make it a little bit more
sturdy oh I didn't mean to do that
